“I manage the financial administration of Impex and am ultimately responsible for the finances of Impex Barneveld BV, the branch in the US and our factory in Germany. Where do we stand, where do we need to make adjustments, and where do we want to go? I keep a constant eye on that. But for me, this work is about more than just numbers. I myself grew up on a farm. The fact that Impex contributes worldwide to the optimization of production and hygiene in poultry houses is something I’m really proud of and glad to be involved in. The culture within Impex is also very similar to the culture I know from the agricultural sector. Sober, no-nonsense and with two feet on the ground. This is also how we stand financially.
Growth is always in mind, of course, but continuity of the organization is paramount. No unnecessary risks, but of course you have to have some guts sometimes. The acquisition of the factory in Germany, for example, was a serious investment. But a well-considered financial decision, which has enabled us to create an even stronger foundation for the future. We are therefore a very healthy company!”
